Dear Valued Clients,
We wish to inform our valued clients that we have completed the initial review of the latest PhilHealth Circular 2024-0001, which pertains to the Rules for Adjusting Case Rates. This circular outlines a 30% adjustment in select case rates aimed at enhancing financial coverage. The adjusted case rates include:
- TUBERCULOSIS - DOTS
- HIV AIDS TREATMENT (OUTPATIENT)
- ANIMAL BITE TREATMENT
- NEWBORN CARE PACKAGE
- MATERNITY CARE PACKAGE
- POSTPARTUM PROGESTIN SUBDERMAL IMPLANTS (PSI)
For HIS or V8 users, our IT partner can refer to the Knowledge Base Article (KBA) link detailing the process for manually updating ICD-10 codes according to the advised adjustments.

For our Beacon Portal users, you can continue to utilize the same workaround or follow the process used for adjusting Pneumonia and Stroke cases. This involves custom editing the Case Rate Amount until the updates are finalized in PhilHealth databases.
For a detailed list of the select existing case rates, please refer to page 6 of the Circular 2024-0001. Should there be any additional rates not listed, our valued clients can manually update each case rate based on the advised adjustments provided in the Circular. We are also in coordination with PhilHealth Central to ensure that any additional case rates are included beyond the initial list provided. Rest assured, we will provide regular updates as necessary.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Should you have any further inquiries or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Best Regards,
BizBox Team
