JULY 01, 2024 | Addressing System Alerts and Transmittal Issues for Hemodialysis Claims Submission

To Our Valued Clients,

We have received reports regarding system alerts and transmittal issues encountered by our eClaims clients when submitting hemodialysis claims with multiple sessions. This issue has been reported to the PhilHealth Main Office. According to their initial feedback, the processing of hemodialysis claims will now adhere to the policy of one session per claim. This change is related to the new amended PhilHealth Circular 2024-0014( https://www.facebook.com/share/p/Qvu2RLd9qvBwpBNX/), which institutionalizes 156 hemodialysis sessions.

We are currently awaiting further feedback and/or instructions from PhilHealth on how to handle claims for patients who have been registered, charged, and had multiple sessions created under one claim. We will keep you informed of any updates from PhilHealth on this matter.

In the meantime, to avoid lapsing hemodialysis claims, you may proceed with submission by creating a separate claim for each session.

Regarding the amendments or the new PhilHealth Circular 2024-0014 on coverage expansion (Revision 1), we are preparing an FAQ document to provide you with detailed information about the changes.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Best regards,

BizBox Team
