Dear Valued Users,
We would like to inform you that, based on PhilHealth Advisory No. 2026-0022, all healthcare facilities are required to transition to eClaims 3.0 starting April 1, 2026.
Once your facility has migrated to eClaims 3.0, the Electronic Statement of Account (ESOA) must be submitted in XML format as part of the claims submission process.
To help ensure compliance, the BEACON eClaims system now includes a validation indicator. If a claim is submitted without an attached ESOA XML file, the system will display the following message under Issues Found in Claims:
"ESOA Document is Required"
What should you do when you see this message?
- Double-check the Statement of Account section located at the lower-right portion of the claim.
- Generate the ESOA XML by selecting "Yes" when prompted.
- After generation, proceed to Upload Documents and verify that an "ESA" document type appears, confirming that the ESOA XML file has been successfully uploaded.
For your reference, you may review the link below, which contains step-by-step instructions on processing claims under the updated system.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
