Reminding everyone About The Application Of Mandatory Discounts.

Mandatory discounts such as Senior and PWD 20% Discount should be applied to ALL Hospital Charges including Professional Fees before deducting the Philhealth Benefits.

The VAT shall first deduct from the total gross actual charges to get the net of VAT exemption actual charges; then deduct the 20% discount from the net of VAT exemption actual charges; then deduct the Philhealth Benefit from the remaining amount. The balance after VAT exemption, Senior/PWD discount, and Philhealth Benefit shall be the co-payment (should there be any) of the patient.
