Malware infection such as the Ransomware, hardware failure, and database corruption are just a few of the concerns that our IT department deals with on a daily basis. Given the critical nature of continuous operations, IT administrators should be prepared to mitigate these incidents and restore operations as quickly as possible.

With this we strongly advise our users, particularly administrators, to back-up their critical data and files on a regular and consistent basis. Following the "3-2-1" back-up rule is the best practice when it comes to data and file back-ups.

The 3-2-1 back-up rule is an industry-standard procedure for safeguarding data in the event of a disaster. It helps to emphasize the importance of maintaining multiple copies of your data on various types of storage media and storing at least one copy outside of your normal production environment. For most people, this means storing the original data on their server, a back-up on an external hard drive, and another on a cloud back-up service.
