We have received concerns from some of our clients regarding certain submitted claims. These claims initially indicated a successful eClaims Transmittal Process, as confirmed by email notifications stating successful transmission. However, when checking the Beacon Portal, an error message indicates an issue with the transmittal process. This discrepancy has led to confusion regarding the accurate status of these claims.
Typically, to review and verify the successful transmission of such claims in question, we request our clients to use the HCI Portal to check if the record is reflected in the RSM. If the record is found, we update the claim on our end to "transmitted," along with noting the corresponding series number displayed in the RSM.
Currently, the HCI portal is inaccessible and not operational, which hinders our client's ability to verify the successful transmission of these claims. This temporary unavailability presents a challenge in promptly addressing the discrepancy in claim statuses. As of now, we must await PhilHealth's restoration efforts to regain access and properly verify the status. Once access is restored, we can proceed with the necessary steps to resolve this matter promptly and effectively.
We would also like to notify our clients that these incidents should not typically occur within the normal process flow. However, based on our observations, these cases tend to happen when, during the initial transmittal of certain claims, an error is encountered. In such instances, users sometimes opt to resubmit the claims. On the resubmission or second attempt, it appears that the system unexpectedly accepts the claims, creating the impression of a successful submission.
We've taken the initiative to escalate this matter to our development team for a comprehensive investigation and thorough review of this specific case. Our aim is to prevent such isolated transmission issues and explore any potential connections with intermittent problems related to web services.
