We are delighted to share with you the list of features and fixes we have in store for our clients for the May 2023 Official Release. With the improved quality and enhanced options, you will now have a better Electronic Health Records experience.
The list identifies significant features and fixes we have worked on for the past few months. We have made improvements in the features of our Electronic Health Records.
Before deploying the new update (9.0.102.91), it is recommended that you perform the following steps for best results:
1. Secure and create your latest backup before you start any deployment for the new update. Just in case you will be faced with errors, at least you have backup to restore your database back from where you stopped.
2. It is very important that you disconnect all workstations from the main server while the deployment of the new updates is ongoing.
3. It is also advisable to run the shrinking of log files script for those who have large database size.
4. Put it into practice before you deploy any new update into production, make sure that you have conducted your testing of the new package into your training database.
EHR - Note - Enhancements on ER Blotter Note
These features enhance the ER Blotter Note by Adding a New Panel.
1. Login using Doctor.
2. Select patient then add ER Blotter Notes.
3. Neuro Exam is the New Panel.
EHR - Appointment - Next Appointment's Scheduling from Note and Enhancements
This feature enhancement is for the Appointment Module to be more specific on details especially on toaster and appointment status.
1. Login using Doctor.
2. Go to Patient Chart
3. Set Next Appointment > Input Date, Time, Designation and Procedure
4. After saving, there will be a new toaster indicating patient’s specific appointment details.
5. After that, go to Appointments module to verify if the patient is appointed to the exact date
EHR - Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center - Census Report - Daily PTAT Census
This functionality facilitates the addition of a new census report within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
6. Login using Admin.
7. Go to Census Report
8. Click the Daily PTAT Census to open.
9. Tick the department wants to download reports.
10. Click Download
EHR - inpatient - Medical Nutrition Therapy Form This feature allows the users to add New Notes.
1. Login using Doctor.
2. Select patient then add notes.
3. Search Medical Nutrition Therapy Form.
4. This note is available in RDL ONLY.
EHR - Note - Enhancements on Rehabilitation Medicine
This feature is to add Loading upon printing of notes.
1. Login using Doctor or Nurse Account.
2. In Selected patient create notes.
3. New Text Area OTHER OT MANAGEMENT.
4. Default Uncheck in SPEECH THERAPY MANAGEMENT
5. Multiple Selection in SPEECH THERAPY MANAGEMENT
EHR - Census Reports - Enhancement of Census Reports
This feature is to enhance generating of reports.
1. Login using Admin Account.
2. Access Census Report Module.
3. Generate Reports
EHR - Internal - Settings - Enhancement on View
This feature improves the EHR settings view by ensuring that the sticky panel is the same size as the panels at the bottom.
1. Login using Admin.
2. Go to Setting
3. Click Advance Setting
4. Verify if the sticky panel is the same size as the panel at the bottom
EHR - Internal - Messages - Enhancement on Message, Disclaimer for Special Characters
This feature enhances the Message module to display only the permitted special characters used in creating a message.
1. Login EHR.
2. Go to Messages
3. Create Message and the information that allowed special character will display.
EHR - Internal - Custom Notes - Enhancement of Button to Add Table
This feature enhances the component table in custom notes, placing the 'Add' button at the bottom for easier addition of multiple columns.
1. Login EHR as Admin.
2. Go to Custom Note Module
3. Add component table.
4. Upon creating the table, verify if the ‘Add column’ button is at the bottom side to easier adding column.
EHR - Internal - Custom Notes - Resizing of Texts
This feature enhances the component label by allowing users to customize the text font according to their preferences.
1. Login EHR as Admin.
2. Go to Custom Note Module
3. Add component label/title.
4. Upon creating a table, the user can edit the font size of the text .
EHR - Internal - Custom Note - Printout Enhancement
This feature enhances the printing capability of the custom note’s component, allowing the notes to be
printed in HTML format.
1. Login EHR.
2. Go to the patient chart.
3. Add the creating custom notes.
4. Fill up the needed fields.
5. Save notes.
6. Click Print Preview
EHR - Internal - Visits - Enhancement on Referral to Doctor
This feature enhances the referral process in the patient chart by restricting users from referring to locked accounts of doctors.
1. Login EHR.
2. Go to the patient chart.
3. Refer the patient to the doctor that has a locked account.
4. Unable to search the doctor’s name.
Locked Account
EHR - Internal - Note - Disable Unlock Note Button If Permanent Locked
This feature enhances the lock button.
1. Login using Admin.
2. Under the notes option, change the permanent lock to YES.
3. Login using doctor.
4. Select patient then add note.
5. Save the notes then click permanent lock.
6. Once it saves, the permanent lock button will be disabled otherwise note.
EHR - Internal - Vital Signs - Enhancement on Output, Viewable Only If Inpatient
This feature enhances output to be viewable for Inpatient Only.
1. Login using Doctor.
2. Proceed to Inpatient module then click patient name.
3. On patient chart, click New Vital Signs.
4. The output column must be viewable.
EHR - Internal - Patient Executive Summary - Enhancement on Button, More Visibility
These features make the button more visible.
1. Login using Doctor.
2. Proceed to inpatient module, then click patient name.
On patient executive summary, the button of refresh, print, and back are more visible.
EHR - Internal - Custom Census Reports - If New Census Report, Must Have Default Columns
This feature allows you to have default columns.
1. Login using admin.
2. Proceed to Census Reports Module, then click add icon.
3. Input report name then select of type of query (visits).
4. Upon select visits, it will have default columns.
EHR - Internal - Custom Census Reports - New Filter, Final Diagnosis
These features add Final Diagnosis on the filter.
1. Login using admin.
2. Proceed to Census Reports Module, then click add icon.
3. Input report name then select of type of query (visits).
4. Click add column, Final Diagnosis must be on the selection.
EHR - Internal - Notes - Enhancement on Author, Display Who Added/Created the Note
This feature allows the user to identify who created the notes by displaying the name of the author.
1. Login using any user except for the admin.
2. Proceed to visits then select patient.
3. Add note then save. The name of the author will display upon save.
EHR - Internal - Patient Chart - Enhancement Patients Document Label, Rephrase
This feature enhances the label on patient documents.
1. Login using Doctor.
2. Select patient by clicking patient name.
3. On patient chart, proceed to the documents at the lower part.
4. Label must be ‘Only displays uploaded documents that have been shared with you and are not part of a timeline.’
EHR - Internal - Settings - New Option, Set to In Progress Patient Status Automatically
This feature allows the user to automatically set to In Progress patient status.
1. Login using admin.
2. Proceed to settings then Set to In Progress Upon Access Patient Chart to YES.
3. Login using doctor.
4. Click patient name (On queue status) then proceed to visits.
5. Check the status of the patient, it must in progress.
EHR - Internal - Note - Enhancement on Note, Additional Loading Upon Print Preview
This feature is to add Loading upon printing of notes.
1. Login using Doctor or Nurse Account.
2. In Selected patient create notes.
3. Print Preview.
1. Login using Admin account.

EHR - Internal - Custom Notes - Enhancement on Creating a Component, Auto Focus on Title Textbox
This feature is to focus on Title when adding components.
1. Login using Admin.
2. Create Custom Notes.
3. Add Components.
EHR - Internal - Reports - Add New Disclaimer in Report Module
This feature reminds the user of the time to generate reports.
1. Login using Admin.
2. Access Census Report Module.
EHR - Internal - Deployer - Add New Fields in Auth Deployer These features are additional fields for EHR Deployer.
1. Run HER Deployer.
2. Access Auth Tab.
EHR - Internal - Settings - New Note Option, Default Value of Note’s Privacy Settings
This functionality facilitates the corresponding note privacy settings reflected to each user newly added note.
1. Login using Admin.
2. Set Note’s Privacy (All Assigned, Dr’s Dept, Only Me, Read and Write or View Only) then save.
3. After that, all notes privacy should be reflected on what is set from admin settings.
EHR - Internal - Visits - Additional Button for Add Note
This feature added a new button directly to visits and outside patient chart for easy accessibility.
1. Login EHR.
2. Go to Visits
3. Check the new button ‘Add Notes’ beside patient status.
EHR - Internal - Patient Chart - Enhancement on Label of Locked Note
This feature added a new label and color to differentiate a lock note compared to the permanent ones.
1. Using Admin account, change settings to enable permanent lock.
2. After that, check all note’s lock options and select permanent lock. Should be applied as the image below upon hover.
3. Option 2 – assuming the permanent lock is not enabled.
4. Using Doctors/Nurses account, go to notes or create one.
5. Check all note’s lock options and select lock. Should be applied as the image below upon hover.
EHR - Internal - Custom Note - New Option on Table Component, Only Allow User to Edit Who Made Entry
This feature added a new secured function to custom notes components, not allowing other users to edit their created table upon creation of the note.
1. Login EHR as Admin.
2. Go to Custom Note Module
3. Add component Table.
4. Locate the restriction checkbox and enable it.
5. After that, other users shouldn’t have any access to edit the table you inserted as image shows below.

EHR - Internal - Custom Note - Add New Components Annotation that can Upload Image to Edit
This feature added a new option for the users to be able to upload an image that can be annotated.
1. Login EHR as Admin.
2. Go to Custom Note Module
3. Add component Annotation.
4. Select to either “Upload Image from User’s PC” or “Attach file from DMS”.
