We are delighted to share with you the list of features we have in store for our clients for the December 2023 Interim Release. With the improved quality and enhanced options, you will now have a better HRP experience.

The list identifies significant features and fixes we have worked on for the past few months. We have made improvements in the features of our HRP.

Before deploying the new update, HRP 1.0.22, it is recommended that you perform the following steps for best results:

  1. Secure and create your latest backup before you start any deployment for the new update. Just in case you encounter errors, at least you have backup to restore your database back from where you stopped.
  2. It is important that you disconnect all workstations from the main server while the deployment of the latest updates is ongoing.
  3. Put it into practice before you deploy any new update into production, make sure that you have conducted your testing of the new package into your training database.
  4. Double check appsettings, appsettings.production, appsettings.local, & app.env before running Accounts, API (except HRP-API), Hangfire & WEB. Compare your current files to the latest release.

HRP ADMIN New Features


System Setup Setup and Options Payroll Include/Exclude Overtime Pay in Payroll Processing

This setup will allow you to include approved overtime in Contract of Service as ‘Actual of No of Days Served’. The conversion is approved OT hours divided by 8. Output is rounded to two decimal places.

Sample: If the approved OT is 4hours 30minutes the added no of days served is .5625


Note: This is also applied in downloadable summary & CoS Payslip Format 1.

Basis of Computation

  • Actual Work Days - If selected Working Days in a Month should be disabled since the number of working days in a month is based on the actual attendance of the employee for the month.
  • Average Work Days – If selected, the Working Days in a Month is enabled and the basis of number of working days in a month is based on a set value.


Working Days in a Month

  • Disabled by default. Enabled, if the selected Basis of Computation is Average Work Days, once enabled the user will enter the total number of working days in a month

Daily Rate

Disabled by default. Auto Compute Display- if the selected Basis of Computation is Average Work Days, The formula would be, Monthly Rate divided by Working Days in a Month


Taxable Tagging

Once checked, the Allowed Exemptions dropdown option will be enabled, and the list of options is the following:

None

  • De Minimis Benefits - if selected apply the existing process in the system
  • 13th Month & Other Benefits - limit or ceiling based on the setup in System Setup > Organizations > Tax Exemption
  • Salaries & Other Compensations - limit or ceiling based on the setup in System Setup
    • Organizations > Tax Exemption

HR Forms — Promotion Criteria and Point System — Point System Enhancements Enhancement for pointing system of promotion criteria by applying text box in every row of giving points both page 1 and page 2. Note that in every group the other text box will disable once the text box has value.

What’s Fixed

  • Late/Undertime of employees with accumulated leave balance will no longer be added to gross pay.
  • Fix the issue regarding the double-assigned schedule if the assigned cutoff validation is triggered.
  • Compensatory Holiday Pay will no longer be added to gross pay.
  • Connected to the fixes in the Shift buildup – Break, there is an issue in multiple select manual input in Timesheet for night shift with break.
    • Workaround: Single input for night shift if with break.



Known Issues

  • Accumulated Leave will not compute on the second month after manual entry.
  • Appointment Form broken 2nd page and overlapped labels in printout.
  • If employees have time in & out in timesheet with holiday, holiday indication in DTR will not be displayed.
